Neil Young Says "CSNY Has Every Chance of Getting Together Again"
Published Jan 30, 2017Though he's been on the road these past few years with Promise of the Real and rock stalwarts Crazy Horse, Neil Young is still open to touring with his old outfit Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, according to a new interview.
Speaking to MOJO, Young acknowledged that "a lot of things have to be settled" between himself and his bandmates, leading the Canadian songwriter to say he is on board for a reunion.
"I think CSNY has every chance of getting together again," Young said. "I'm not against it.
He added, "There's been a lot of bad things happen among us... and a lot of things have to be settled. But that's what brothers and families are all about. We'll see what happens. I'm open. I don't think I'm a major obstacle."
However, a major obstacle that may prevent the reunion is the relationship between David Crosby and Graham Nash, with the latter saying he was done with the project in an interview last year.
On Crosby's side, he took to Twitter over the weekend to say talk of a reunion is "fine with me" and that Young is a "hugely talented guy."

Young also spoke to MOJO about Donald Trump, with whom he battled over music use during his presidential campaign. He had this to say about the new U.S. president:

There are a lot of things about him that I just can't buy into... But we also know this guy really likes to be popular. What if a lot of people didn't like what he was doing and told him? He's already shown a strange ability to change course. You gotta look at it like he's impressionable.
Young's latest LP Peace Trail is out now through Reprise.
