Kanye West Lost His Queen, Too
After declaring that he was "releasing all grudges" in light of Queen Elizabeth II's death, the artist formerly known as Kanye West has added that his experience has rendered him uniquely capable of empathizing with the UK's grief — after all, he too has suffered a royal loss.

Amid a lengthy series of Instagram Stories posted yesterday (September 25), Ye shared the following poetic sentiment:

LONDON I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL

I LOST MY QUEEN TOO

It seems pretty obvious to suspect that West is referring to ex-wife Kim Kardashian, to whom he recently apologized on Good Morning America. However, others have suggested that he's referring to his late mother — eulogized twice on Donda and Donda 2. Either way, the rapper seems to be deeply affected by the death of the UK's longest-reigning monarch.

As well as seeing himself reflected in the grieving process surrounding the monarchy, West has found an unlikely mirror in longtime nemesis Taylor Swift amid rumours of his catalogue being put up for sale.
