Death Cab for Cutie are in the midst of their North American tour behind latest album Asphalt Meadows, and the band have just announced a second leg that includes a handful of Canadian performances.

After a run of the States through to the end of October, plus shows in January, February and March 2023, Ben Gibbard and co. will pick back up on the road with a show in Indianapolis on May 31. June 2 will kick off a two-day stint at Toronto's Massey Hall, with support from Lomelda, after which the band will head back south for more American shows.

Death Cab will return to the north on June 12 for a performance at Calgary's Grey Eagle Event Centre, with Lomelda continuing to offer support, after which they'll make their way to Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom for another two-day run. The tour wraps up in Bend, OR, on June 17.

Tickets for the new dates are on sale this Friday (October 21) at 10 a.m. local, following a pre-sale that begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. local. An additional presale for Toronto's two performances is being held by Collective Concerts on Thursday (October 20) using the code "collective."
