The Rolling Stones Story to Be Told in New Dramatized TV Series
The Rolling Stones are set to have their wild rock'n'roll story told via a new dramatized TV series. And if that wasn't crazy enough of an idea, the upcoming show is being written by High Fidelity author Nick Hornby.

Today it was announced that the as-yet-untitled show will be coming from  FX, which has already ordered up two seasons. Helping out Hornby will be the team behind the hit Netlfix series The Crown, Deadline reports.

According to today's announcement, the show will focus on the Stones' glory years, from their very beginnings through 1972. In that time, the band released such classics as Their Satanic Majesties Request, Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street.

The new series will be produced by Left Bank Pictures, which helms Netflix's The Crown and Starz' Outlander.

So far, no casting decisions have been revealed or any potential release date.
