Joe Exotic Will Formally Ask Donald Trump for a Pardon: Report
As Hollywood races to find a main mullet to play Joe Exotic in myriad proposed Tiger King spinoffs, the man himself is reportedly readying a formal request to be pardoned by Donald Trump.

TMZ reports that Joe Exotic and his legal team are preparing a formal case file, which they plan to announce "in a few days." The site points out that their campaign will also include a wrapping a coach bus with decals reading "President Trump Please Pardon Joe Exotic."

As shown in the wildly popular Netflix docuseries, Exotic is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for a murder-for-hire plot against nemesis Carole Baskin, in addition to illegal wildlife trading and violating the Endangered Species Act.

In April, a reporter asked Trump about the possibility of a pardon for Exotic during a White House coronavirus briefing. At the time, the president said, "I'll take a look."

People have become so enamoured with Exotic in isolation that they've gone as far as tattooing him on their bodies. Yesterday (May 4), it was revealed that Nicolas Cage had been cast as the former zookeeper in a Tiger King scripted series.
