Published Jun 01, 2020In March, Record Store Day was forced to postpone its 2020 event due to the coronavirus pandemic, opting to hold its celebration of vinyl over three monthly drop dates. Now, the titles for all three RSD Drops have been revealed.
As previously reported, this year's batch of Record Store Day releases will arrive on August 29, September 26 and October 24.
Highlights from the August drop date include Tyler, the Creator's Cherry Bomb and its instrumental version, Odd Future's The OF Tape Vol. 2, a box set of John Prine's first four albums, the Weeknd's My Dear Melancholy, EP, Billie Eilish's Live at Third Man Records album, Robyn's self-titled 2005 album and many more.
September's drop will feature an anniversary reissue of Ol' Dirty Bastard's debut album, a live record from Tegan and Sara and Ryuichi Sakamoto's soundtrack for Black Mirror episode "Smithereens," while October's drop includes titles from Beck and St. Vincent, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Philip Glass, Miles Davis, the Rolling Stones and more.
