Published May 19, 2016Johnny de Courcy is having a bad hair day, it would seem. Tasked with trying to figure out what new do would be the best to fit his face is a huge part of his new single, "Angel of Death."
Dropped two weeks into de Courcy's national tour, "Angel of Death" is a glammy, synth-pop modelled cut full of electronic drum tones, mud-thick bass grooves and slinky six-string work. What we learn from the sassy Samael's lyrics is that he's got no love for shoe shine, generally brushes his teeth with irregular currency and wants a hairstyle that's positively absurd.
Let de Courcy share a few other details by giving his new single a spin down below.
As previously reported, de Courcy is currently on the road with Painted Fruit. They hit Toronto's Gladstone Hotel tonight (May 19). You can see the rest of the show schedule below as well.
