Heaven 17 Are Coming to Canada on Their 'First Proper' North American Tour
British synth-pop heroes Heaven 17 are heading out of their "first proper" North American tour, which will be heading to Canada.

In 2017, the group — led by former Human League member Martyn Ware — played their first live shows in the U.S., hitting up New York City and L.A. But this time around, Heaven 17 will be playing a string of shows here in North America.

On the schedule is a Vancouver stop on May 12, and then they will play Toronto on May 14.

The tour, which also includes various U.K. and European shows, will come under the banner "We Don't Need This Fascist Groove Thang," named after their hit 1981 track.

In an announcement post, Heaven 17 write: " Expect a full set of the best of Heaven 17 from the last 40 years — it is going to be a lot of fun and we can't wait to meet our US fans!"

We presume they are also excited to meed their Canadian fans.

See Heaven 17's full schedule below. Tickets go on sale Friday (February 7).
