André 3000 Is in the Studio with Chris Rock, Jack White and A Tribe Called Quest's Jarobi White
Outkast rapper André 3000 has been hinting at a new solo album for a few years now, but a recent photo from the studio might indicate that it's finally on its way to arriving.

Last night (April 7), comedian Chris Rock posted a photo of himself in the studio with the rapper — but they weren't the only famous friends present. The picture also includes Jack White, A Tribe Called Quest's Jarobi White, and producer D-Nice.

Rock captioned the shot with a simple description that reads: "Me, Dave, D-nice, Jack White and Jarobi hard at work on the new Andre 3000 album."

Although André 3000 has been focusing on his acting career lately, appearing in American Crime and the Jimi Hendrix biopic All Is By My Side, he recently told Billboard that he was working on a new musical project.

"It kind of puts you in the place where you're fiending to do music," he said back in January. "I've been holding [back] for a long time, so now I'm really interested in figuring out some type of music to do. I'm always recording."

André 3000 most recently lent his rapping talents to a guest verse on Kanye West's The Life of Pablo cut "30 Hours." Last year, he also appears on Erykah Badu's "Hello" from the singer's But U Cain't Use My Phone mixtape.

No firm details on an upcoming musical project have been announced, but you can check out the photographic update from the studio below and start to get cautiously get your hopes up.
